Racing Name: Mountview Ike

Pet Name: Robbie

Robbie is a beautiful black dog with a heart of gold and a cheeky playful side that you will not be able to refuse. If he knows you he will be your best friend, as the staff walk past his kennel in the morning he is stood on his bed with his ears up and his head cocked in that comical greyhound way that makes him look cute, tail wagging, he is pleased to see you.

Robbie has been with us to long, he sees his kennel mates come and go and wonders when it will be his turn.....

Come up and take Robbie for a walk you will not be disappointed

Racing Name: Desert Judy

Pet Name: Judy

Judy has been with us for 12 months through no fault of her own,, she is a lovely dog and will make a great companion for someone,, she is grey round the chops but dont let that fool you she is still a spring chicken,,full of life and wants to be loved, shes not an in your face sort of dog, but is affectionate loves a walk and a cuddle,, someone give her a chance.... 

JUDY IS NOT CAT FRIENDLY

UPDATE 30/1/12 Judy is still with us and looking fo a warm sofa to call her own and someone to shower with love and affection. She can be a bit bossy and knows her own mind but don't hold this against her, when she gets to know you she will be your best friend..

Pet Name: Barney

Personality: Barney is new into kennels May 2011, he is a black in colour and is showing himself to have a good temperament and barney enjoys a cuddle.

Update July11: Cheeky Barney has come out of his shell, he cann't wait to get out of his kennel and show you how much he loves you, he enjoys going for a walk and loves to play. If you are looking for a playful cheeky monkey then this dog is for you.

Update Aug 11: Barney has seen his kennel partners come and go and wonders daily when it will be his turn to leave our kennels to his new home. His tail wagging wearing his new collar and lead, ready to jump in the van and leave us behind for ever... He's a good lad with a heart of gold and is just waiting for the right person to come along to share his love and their sofa..

UPDATE: 30/1/12 - Barney is still with us, come into our kennels and he starts shouting as soon as you walk in. Open his kennel door and he wants to go for a walk. Barney lives for praise all he wants to hear is that he has been a good boy. If you've got the time to spend with Barney he will make a loving and loyal companion,, he is a little sweetheart..

Pet Name: Ace

UPDATE: 30/12/1 - Ace is the sort of dog that just wants an easy life, feed him walk him and cuddle him and he is happy. He does like to play but he needs a bit of time to get to know you, once that bond is there he will be your best and loyal friend. Take him for a walk give him a couple of treats and you will see what a sweetheart he is...

Personality: Diva is a small white and black bitch, new into kennels Oct 11. Diva by name and Diva by nature, only kidding she is a little sweet heart, but if you go into the kennels you have to say hello to her. Photo coming soon...

UPDATE: 30/1/12 - If you are looking for someone full of life with a playful nature, Diva is the dog for you, she loves people and will do anything for attention and a cuddle, she is only a little thing but loves her grub and will do anything for a treat, she loves to go for a walk and never complains how many times she goes round the field as long as you take her...If you have a love of the outdoors this is the dog for you...

Personality: Angel is new into kennel Sept 11, she is a white and black bitch with a loving nature.

UPDATE: 30/1/12 - Do'nt let the sad face in the photo fool you, Angel is a cheeky monkey, she loves a walk and a treat and would feel at home warming your sofa while watching the soaps with you, looking up at you with the big brown eyes full of love for her new owner..Give her a chance you will not be disappointed

Personality: New into kennels Oct 11. He is a beautiful black dog with a steady nature.

UPDATE: 30/1/12 - Bing is still with us, who knows why, he is such a sweet heart, he loves a cuddle and shares a kennel with the most bossy girl we have, so he has the patience of a saint. He is a steady boy to walk, enjoys food and a treat and never complains. Bing would make a great family addition or loving companion.. You will not be disappointed

UPDATE: 30/1/12 - Bailey is a big strapping handsome black dog that just wants to have a good time. He loves to play, walk and be cuddled. He has a really good temperament, friendly and very attentive to whoever is walking him. Don't let the size put you off he will do anything to please and will make a great addition to any household.

Shaun is back with us, due to a change in circumstances. He adapted really well  to his new surrounding, took everything in his stride, the people who adopted Shaun were reluctant to bring him back, because he has settled so well in such a short period of time. Update 31/10/11 - Deano is back with us, it didn't quite work out with his new house mates. He had a bit of a fall out with the male dog in the house.  He gets on well with bitches, loves a walk, and settled well into the routine of living in a home and house training. If you are after a dog with a bit of spirit, come up and meet Deano. He's a charmer with a cheeky side..

UPDATE July 11: Laddie is just a big cuddle monster, who just wants to be your friend. He is a very handsome boy with a gentle nature and a favourite of the kennel staff. Please consider Laddie if you are looking for a loving companion.

UPDATE AUG 11: Laddie is a sweet heart who is looking for love, he will make a great addition to any family or someone that has a love of life, Laddie is the friendliest dog in I've ever known and just wants to make someone happy. If I had the room I would take him home myself he's that lovely. Please consider Laddie if you are looking for love you will not be disappointed.

Personality: Minty is new into kennel Nov 10. He is a big beautiful dog with an outgoing personality who just wants to be loved. Once he gets to know you he is a big softy, he loves going for a walk and enjoys a cuddle... UNFORTUNATLEY MINTY IS UNABLE TO BE HOMED WITH YOUNG CHILDREN.

Update 6/4/11: Mint is a lovely big blue dog, He is getting fed up of being in kennels and just wants someone to love. He is always up for a walk, Mint will do anything for a treat. . , come up take him for a walk once out of the kennels he is a different dog,,Mint just needs someone to give him a chance.

Update Aug 11: Cheeky Mint is still with us, he was reserved but it fell through at the last minute due to a change in circumstances. (Gutted) He's a lovely big dog with a heart of gold. He is desperatley looking for somene to love him and love in return, he will be your best friend and once he gets to know you he has a cheeky smile...

Personality: Ava was found as a stray, she has not been with us long, she has a quiet nature and is a bit nervous of her new surrounding, but she loves a cuddle and a treat..

We have limited information as to Ava's background. She is fully vaccinated, wormed and flead, teeth cleaned and nails clipped as with all our Greyhounds

Personality: Punch is new into kennels Sept 10, He's a big beautiful black dog that is showing himself to have a friendly and loving nature.

Update 22/11/10: Punch is a really nice dog, the longer he is with us the softer he gets. He loves a cuddle and enjoys a walk. As you enter the kennels he's one of the first dogs that will come to the door of his kennel to see who you are and if he recognises you his tail goes ten to the dozen. He will make a great addition to any family, he's a big softy...

Update 6/4/11:  I can't really add anything to Punch that could make him more endearing, the kennel staff are surprised that he is still with us. Ok so he is a big dog and can jump in the air from standing which he does when you enter the kennels to say look at me take me for a walk. He is a good lad who will listen to you and will do anything for a treat, give the big lad a chance, he's a sweet heart..

Update: Lizzy is a lovely little girl, she is good with kids, walks well on the lead, and has an easy going personality. Lizzy loves a cuddle, she would make the perfect addition to any family.

Pet Name: Meg

Personality: Due to a change in family circumstances, Meg is still with her owner at the moment but is due to come back to kennels shortly. She is a sweet little lady with a loving personality, she walks well on the lead and is house trained. If you are interested in getting to know Meg please let us know...  Now back in kennels

Update 27/10/10 : Unfortunatley sweet little Meg is with us.

She is coping well in kennels but has been with us for too long.  Kennel hands and volunteer walkers all have a soft spot for her and would love to see her get a new home.  She loves to be out walking and has boundless energy, she can also be very loving and affectionate. If you have the same love for life and have cuddles to spare Meg is the ideal dog for you.

We have an old guy in the kennels at the moment called Benny. He is a sweet old man that has come back to the us because his owner can no longer look after him.

If you have been up to the kennels recently you may have seen him wandering around, trying to sneak through the gate with you as you go for a walk round the field. He is fit and healthy with a cracking personality, Benny is always up for a cuddle and if you are in the kitchen having a cup of tea Benny will not be far away. He is a steady dog and walks well on the lead, he is house trained and looking for a warm bed and companionship. Benny is coping well in the kennels but the kennel staff would love to find him a home.
