Become a friend of the Sheffield retired greyhounds trust and sponsor a dog for £10 per month or just £60 per year. Your sponsorship will help to ensure that we can continue to offer homes to as many greyhounds as possible.

Sponsorship could be for yourself, a friend or as a gift for a loved one. You will be helping a great charity and if you would like to, there will be loads of opportunities for you to come and see the greyhounds and take lots of long walks through the beautiful countryside surrounding the home-finding kennels in Wortley.

All sponsors will also receive a certificate of sponsorship, regular updates from your sponsored friend to let you know how they are doing and a Christmas card.

There is no limit to the number of dogs that you can sponsor and once your dog is re-homed your sponsorship can be transferred to another dog if this is your wish.

Dog sponsorship really is a great gift idea: we're hoping this year that people will consider sponsoring a kennel: for £120 a year you get:

• your details (individual or company) displayed in kennels showing your support
• regular updates of the greyhounds that have been in that particular kennel and how they're getting on
• a christmas card (greyhounds aren't very good at holding a pen so we help them write them)
• the satisfaction of knowing you're supporting a wonderful charity and helping our beautiful greyhounds
